One of the greatest gifts God has given to believers is the privilege of being included in the local church. This fellowship of born-again believers has played a vital role in the lives of Christians since it was instituted by Christ. HFY is a unique ministry in that it focuses on the needs of the ones who have committed their lives to helping others, The Pastor, more specifically, the aging pastor.

 Pastors of large, “mega-churches’ ‘ know what it is like to grow old, retire and have sufficient financial means to last them in their twilight years. The pastors of small churches, however, most often do not share this experience. Too many of God’s faithful servants experience the unenviable situation of dealing with advanced age and failing health, yet they are not financially prepared to retire. Small church budgets are not sufficient to support a new pastor and his family along with providing a pension for the one who has led them for the past several years. HFY was established out of a burden to assist with the living expenses of retired pastors, evangelists and missionaries.

 We truly believe “GOD WILL PROVIDE” and His provisions come through His people, His church. This is a great need today and as the world veers further from the God who made them, this need will become greater as the years pass.
